Win Some Lose Some…
Join us again as we take a look at 3 people who had the edge this week and 3 people who could have really done with it!
WIN
Kevin The Carrot/Aldi
Aldi are cashing in on the popular mascot by creating and selling a line of Kevin the Carrot toys. Shoppers have been scrambling to get their hands on the limited stock with some customers reporting fights breaking out. It won’t be long before he has his own Disney franchise.
LOSE
Paul Gascoigne
Gazza was charged with sexual assault after an incident on a train, what followed was a series of rambling tweets which have since been deleted, but fear not because everyone on Twitter seems to have a screenshot of them saved.
WIN
Robert Kubica
Kubica is making a sensational return to Formula 1 next season with Williams, years after a rally accident nearly took his life. Despite only having partial movement in his right arm, Kubica impressed Williams during a full racing evaluation. He would definitely be a more popular champion than Lewis Hamilton.
LOSE
Canadian Curling Team
The Canadian curlers were kicked out of a competition after appearing worse for wear on the ice. They went out to curl after a few drinks and ended up falling all over, snapping brooms and just being drunken idiots. In fairness it did make curling more appealing for a short time.
WIN
Chris Smalling
Apparently Chris Smalling is one of Jose Mourinho’s favourites (I’m guessing Luke Shaw and Antony Martial weren’t in the day Jose picked favourites) and he is being rewarded with a new £120k a week contract. Smalling will soon be eligible for a testimonial at Man United, I’ll let everyone draw their own conclusions about that one.

LOSE
Nigel Levine
He may not be a household name but he is a Team GB Olympic relay medallist. Levine was this week banned from competing for 4 years for a drugs violation, at the age of 29 this is probably the end of his career, at least he went out on a high.
